Darjeeling Trekking Tour

Duration:  06 Nights / 7 Days
Destination covered: Kolkata, Darjeeling, Sandakphu and Delhi/Kolkata

Day 01: Kolkata
Arrive at Kolkata International Airport. Receiving and assisting at the Airport. transferring to the hotel. On arrival the guest will be welcomed in a traditional way. Over night stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Kolkata
After the leisure breakfast. Enjoy a city sights tour including a visit to the imposing Victoria Memorial. Opened by the Prince of Wales in 1921, this vision in marble is often called the “Taj” of the British Raj. Overnight at Night train for New Jal Paiguri (nearest railway of Darjeeling)

Day 03: Darjeeling
Early morning arrive at New Jal Paiguri and board our transport vehicle which awaits you to drive you to Darjeeling and overnight in hotel.

Day 04: Darjeeling
Early in the morning and visit the Tiger Hill to witness the magnificent sunrise on the Mt. Kanchanzonga. On the way back visit the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Back to the hotel and after breakfast proceed for the sight seeing of the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Podwaja Naidu zoological Garden, Labong Rose Course, Ropeway, Happy valley tea estate, Tenzing Rock Lal Kuthi. Come back to the hotel.

Day 05: Darjeeling - Sandakphu
Sandakphu 3636 meter is 58 kms from Darjeeling and commands one of the most spectacular views .In the foreground is a great basin set in the midst of the hills, the slopes covered with rhododendrons and silver fir trees
Resume trekking from Bikhebhanjang to Sandakphu, From Darjeeling scends to Bikhebhangang -Valley of Poison. Trek from Bikhebhanjang to Sandakphu is a steep climb of 4 kms and takes more then an hour to cover this trek. Trek time 2-3 hrs.

Day 06: Sandakaphu – Darjeeling
After the trekking, afternoon drive for Darjeeling and overnight at Hotel

Day 07: Darjeeling - New Jal Paiguri or Bagdogra
Morning Departure for your for onward destination to Bagdogra for flight and New Jalpaigri for train to New Delhi or Kolkata
